Learning about ALA accreditation

Holding a degree with ALA accreditation provides additional opportunities for individuals to gain jobs in public and school library settings. In some instances, state licensure requires the completion of an ALA-accredited degree or similar. This requirement is needed in the state of Pennsylvania.
